The Educator Preparation Program at The Texas Institute for Teacher Education defrays many costs associated with earning a state teaching license. As the most affordable preparation program, we offer prospective teacher candidates:

  • Application Fee - $50.00 (non-refundable)


  • Online Pre-Internship Training and TExES preparation fee: $249.00

The Texas Institute for Teacher Education offers two tracks into the teaching profession (Professional Practicum and Clinical Teacher Practicum).
  • Professional Practicum (Track 1) Fee (10 month program): $3,800.00 payable in 10 monthly installments of $380.00. This fee paid upon enrollment in ME 565A. **

  • Clinical Teacher Practicum (Track 2) Fee (12 week program): $1,800.00 payable in four monthly installments of $450.00. This fee is paid upon enrollment in ME 565B. **
